I was born in Scotland, started playing the guitar at 8. Discovered I had an "EAR" for music. Played all over Scotland with the band "Legal Tender", and wrote the majority of the songs, sang lead vocals/harmonies. I play accoustic guitar/electric, and bass, as well as mandolin/ banjo/flute and harmonica. I loved the Eagles/Dan Folgelburg, the harmony groups from the 70's & 80's. Take those influences, throw in a wee bit of traditional Celtic/Scots, and that's a bit of my style. I am a member of BMI.

Willie McCulloch is one of the best "Story Telling" songwriters I have ever known.
His natural talent for harmony and his God given knack for playing several instruments at an expert level, make Mr. McCulloch a musician's musician.
I expect to find Mr. McCulloch amidst the ranks of the like of Timothy B Schmidt and CSNY in the very near future.
