This is a short list of many songs I have written in my musical career as a Singer, Songwriter, Musician. All of my songs posted here are registered with the Library Of Congress and I very much hope you enjoy listening. I've played with local groups in my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland such as Tempo, Atmosphere and several others. I later realized after playing as a group the idea of going Solo was the key for me. As a Solo Artist I can only disappoint myself and keep moving right along with a smile on my face.Band/artist history
Singer, songwriter, musician and father of 2 Calvin Presco a.k.a. "Whyze" was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Being the youngest of three. Whyze grew up in a family of singers and entertainers. Whyze was destined to be a star in his own rights. Always inspired by instruments and music, Whyze started playing Xylophones in the first grade. In the third grade his parents bought him a chord organ and that was pretty much the instrument that tickled his fancy.
A combination of Whyze's experience, skill and creativity on the keyboards along with other instrumental influences allows him to produce a versatile range of music. Whyze can put you in a mellow, relaxing state of mind with his smooth soulful jazz sound, or he can kick it all the way up to a heavy R&B sound with enough funk to make anyone "Get up and Dance"
Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open because this is just the beginning for Whyze!!!Have you performed in front of an audience?I have played live and loved every minute of it. There is no better feeling than having the crowd in front of you and rockin ! Talking about special moments...... they were all magic moments for me !
Your musical influences
I love the Motown R&B sound and other groups who has givin me the thrive for that heavy funk sound and also jazz. Artists who influenced me back in the days of R&B funk from the late 70's through the 80's. Confunkshun, Brick, Dazz Band, Ray Parker, SOS Band, Bar-Kays, One Way and many, many more. I could go on for days naming groups and artist.What equipment do you use?
