Westra is from the city of Yakima, WA. Started 4 years ago by lead guitarist Austin Owen and drummer Steven Stilley. The band has gone through several changes Since then. Austin and Steven played many different styles of music before settling towards what Westra is today. About 2 years ago, William (Billy) Hancock joined on bass and less then one year ago, Singer and guitarist Michael Scott joined to form the band as it is today. Westra's music is a unique style of Hardcore rythems, screamo, soft yet powerful vocals and mind-Blowing riffs. We have been known as "Nothing Less" until recently changing to the name Westra due to problems with another band across the country. We are hopeing to play some big shows real soon. We will be going on tour late summer and around Washington before hand. Hope you enjoy and hope to see you at our upcoming shows.Have you performed in front of an audience? The Zone is pretty much the only place to play live in yakima for our style of music, with a few exceptions. We pretty much play anywhere we can.
