CAVEMAN TV (SHOOTING STARS)
It's so cool that you even posted the chords to this! A delightful track! Great to hear the MS10 (Konstriktion has one!) jammin' on this one. Rob, the coolest bass lines, keyboards just swingin'. And Mandolin--I am a mandolin ho! The lyrics work so well with the backtrack, very cohesive piece of music. And another collab that needed to be done!
Outstanding!
Peace,
Jim

Simplicity is the song that the guy sings as he's strapping the dynamite to his chest and lighting the fuse...it's the BOMB.
This is just what I needed to hear as I'm in the process of cleaning out a bunch of sh***e in my life.Very inspiring.
Thanks J.C. and to Tony as well.

Hi JC,
Simplicity - you've both created something unique to this board. Very London and music Hall. Great performance from both of you. Well Done indeed!

Hi JC...
Thanks for the post regarding drums on my MB. I'm familiar with that "school of thought" ...and it applies more on low volume or acoustic music..IMHO.
I remember hearing about how John Bonham ws furious over mics on all the drums when Zeppelin went into the studio for their first album. He insisted that the dynamics in his drumming be created by him...not by a mixing engineer. They tried it his way...but due to the volume of the band...it just didn't work. In the end...all of his drums ended up being mic'd...and that never changed as long as he was alive. High volume situations are different...and phasing is less of a problem than not hearing stuff at all.
I don't think you are a nerd. That was great of you to explain how you did that killer drum mix on "Moon Roc" to me. Thanks.
Hugs...Mike (NAV)

I was skulking around in Seniors last night, flitting from shadow to shadow, and i came across something very wierd and wonderful.
It was called a 'My Pastel Heart', and i was blown away by the odd arrangement, and yet it works so well :)
It's nice to hear something so different and wonderful.
Well done on a great song Nigel and JC

I'm taken about, I must say....This is my first visit for a listening session. I listened to "Nigel", "Rendezvous", "Walking with", "Retreat to", and "Into the Ether". ALL GREAT pieces of music. "Nigel" and "Into the Ether" are AWESOME songs. These are right in my favorite genre. Very Cool!! I will keep tabs on West Eleven music.
Thanks,
Rob
