More of a hardcore punk song, but still more melodic than metal or whatever. ITS A PUNK SONG!
Kingdom Come Kingdom Come
Kingdom Come is your typical skate punk song...fast and aggressive yet melodic. Very hard hitting and yet under 2 minutes long!
Band/artist history
The Story of Way Back When is a long and complex one, like a winding path through the mountains....For some time Emo had been interested in getting some sort of 'recording project' going on. He felt that he didn't have enough time to commit to being in a full time band, but that recording a few songs would be a great thing to do.
Then he met Jam at Glasgow Uni in 2003. They became pretty good friends, united by their love of punk rock and dislike of neds! So they jammed together and came up with some pretty cool punk rock songs, which combined fast aggressive skate punk with crazy 80's metal riffs/break downs and strong lyrical content on life and the saving power of Jesus Christ.
But they needed a drummer to complete the work at hand. Scott had been mates with Emo for a while and so he was enlisted to give the project that final umphh and to keep the guitar players in time!!
These songs were all recorded during the summer of 2004. They make up the Constant and Faithful EP which can be purchased from zeroairplay.co.uk.
Jam is now in the band What Will Remains (www.whatwillremain.3t.com) and Scott is carrying on with his band Jim Achen (www.jimachen.com). Emo is busy with organising gigs and such like with his company Zero Airplay Promotions (zeroairplay.co.uk)
