Band/artist history
Warriors of the Cross From the inner city of Youngstown, OH these young men were raised in the church. Not knowing that the call on their life would be as prolific and meaningful to the kingdom of God as it is today. Rapping for the Lord at an early age these men begin to grow in the knowledge of God through the word of the Lord and the Lord began to use them for his service. After being under the name of the demon assassins for a few years and living the lifestyle of the world at the same time as calling themselves ministers, they encountered a Damascus road experience. In April, 1998 on the way back to church to perform in a play that a member of the church had put together these men were in a tragic car accident one of the only accidents to reach the news that day. But by the grace of God they were not on the news for deaths but that day out of six accidents around the city of Youngstown these men were the only ones who survived. After receiving a word from the Lord, these young men began to reevaluate there personal relationship with Christ and they began to reevaluate the demon assassins. After the period of down time and release from their late pastor David A. Robinson, Sr. God gave them a new name Warriors of the Cross. Now after being together as the Warriors for five years these young men have traveled around the U.S. preaching the gospel of Christ. And believe me this is not the watered down word but the true, living, real word of God. Now these three members, Brandon Robinson, Sean Robinson, and Jason Ellis are on a journey to present the word of God to the lost souls and bring healing to the broken hearted. The song Resurrection came through the new transition, and it continues to go out to the nations to minister the cross and reconciliation of God to men. We pray that through this message of the cross that all men will be touched and changed.
