Warmer is a project born out of necessity. After 8 years in various bands in the NW Jesse Gunn had become frustrated with working around the ideas of other band members. After quitting singing/production duties for Diffuse, Jesse began working on his first solo written and produced release Warmer/Warmer. It garnered the attention of now defunct Flexible Records in early 2005. Since Warmers first release, Gunn has worked on several original for film tracks and themes for such indie films as "Slamm'n Annie" and "The Legend of the Bunny Man" produced by Area 13 Films, as well as remixes for indie I.D.M. Musician 'A.S.P.' of Boise, Idaho and Digital Brothel recording artist 'V.T.G.' of San Francisco, California.
While Warmer often adheres to a traditional pop format, Jesse also strays off on tangents just as frequently. There is a certain sense of familiar exploration with the music heightened by a degree of unknown and sometimes unexpected transitions. It is both accessible and unique. That is a balance Gunn often speaks of when asked about his choice of arrangement and voicing.
Warmer is an idea and an ideal. People that know Jesse understand he doesn't make music without a reason. Typically frustration with a certain aspect of society is to blame. Interpersonal complication and depression also dominate his inspiration. If you are looking for a bit of bubble gum to chew on, Warmer isn't for you. This is intelligent conceptual music made for thinkers first and masses second.Band/artist history

You're welcome, I really like your music. I have done a bit of browsing of music here and have been pretty unimpressed, until I came to your song, it blew me away! I was fortunate enough to find a few more and decided to create my station. Keep up the great work. ~gabe
