Wanderlust (US)

Wanderlust was founded at the famed Tuesday Night Sauer Apple Open Jam music hotspot in Hollywood Florida. First Liz Barile arrived on the scene with a great collection of original music and eclectic cover tunes and from there the ball started rolling. Next Gary, from Blue Electric Heat decided to join Liz and formed wanderlust who were later joined by Bill "Marathon Man" Vellekoop who gained local notoriety for jamming in 4-5 hour stretches with various musicians at the open jam. Harry emerged from the woodwork shortly afterward to handle lead guitar duties. Later Jake Mihalak, known for playing rhythm guitar for hollywood jamband WetNoodle and running lighting at open jam events throught south florida, joined the trio on bass to form the present incarnation that is Wanderlust.

Wanderlust has begun playing local South Florida venues and building a following that continues to grow with each performance. Wanderlust creates a "jam" vibe from thin air by mixing smooth flowing original music with lesser known covers that lets the listener kick back, relax and enjoy the music as its supposed to be - with your ears.
