Band/artist history
Originally formed as the National City Band in 1993 by Joel Arellaga, Cenon Mallari, and Renato Parino to play church socials. Orly Mamangun joined as a bassist in 1996
Renamed the Lahi Band in 1998. Lou joined in 1998. Charlene joined in 2001. Rob started as a backup drummer in 2001 and became permanent in August 2004.
Renamed L.A.H.I in August 2004
Renamed V Rox in Feb 2005.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play around San Diego County in California. We do weddings, debutante balls, coffee houses, and a couple concerts.
Performed for the UCSD Open House on Oct 20,2001 and October 2006.
We promoted our own concert, "Summer Jam 2004," which was held on Aug 6, 2004 along with "Voices From Heaven" (an acapella group), the Cindy Santini Band (an alternative folk rock group), and the Super Confusers (our instrumentalists plus a guest from San Diego Supercomputers).
Also taped a cable TV show on Oct 16, 2004 as L.A.H.I that aired on Time Warner Cable (Feb 24) and Cox Cable (Apr 1 and 8)
