Vonmodik is the mad scientist alter ego of artist Chad J.W. Anderson. His ferocious creativity has driven him to express himself in art, film and now a culmination in music and accompanying music videos. From the earliest days of his life these outlets of emotional venting have been crys of an unending, unsatisfied need to create. Paintings, drawings, industrial designs and even films & tv have been the canvases of his unorthodox style, a blending of tradition and rebellion. In certain Vonmodik songs lyrics of simples truths and emotions are woven throughout. While other tracks focus solely on the power of isolated instruments and sounds that stir emotions like bittersweet poetry. Vonmodik's first album 'Untitled' comes together as an avant garde soundtrack rather than a commercially driven, run-of-the-mill release. There are strong cutting-edge electronic influences throughout, moments of classical textures the next, then segues of entirely off the wall revolution. Vonmodik is the secret agent never seen, rarely understood. His music is the soundtrack to an eccentric, stylish, puzzling story. He is the undefined. I compose most of my work in Garageband. I know its a simple program but that is what makes powerful for me (it never gets in my way). I mix in Soundtrack Pro. I love Native Instruments, Kompakt, Vokator. I also use occasional outboard gear from Yamaha and M-Audio.Anything else?
