These song(s) were recorded in 2003 with Andy playing guitar and singing and Micah playing lead guitar. At that time, Ben and Leah had not joined the band. Drums are played by the producer. We hope you enjoy and keep a look out for more music by VON in the very near future. Thanks for listening and please tell all your friends!Band/artist history
Andy and Micah grew up together in Stone Mountain, GA. Both homeschooled and both with musical parents, their musical background started early. Micah picked up guitar and drums around 8 years of age. Andy started writing poetry and lyrics at ten and then picked up guitar at 13. In their teens years they began playing at the now defunct "Sycamore Tree Coffeehouse" every week. In the process they met Ben Dicks, a drummer for the former local band "When All Else Fails" and recruited his talents. Leah Helfen, also from Stone Mountain, has been playing cello for 8 years and was the last to join, but her supreme talents finish off the sound of VON nicely.Have you performed in front of an audience? We do play shows and we will update you with upcoming shows soon.
