we're VIOLENCIA VIOLETA (VIOLENT VIOLET) and we grow in the sewers of europe, some people call it portugal.... We started mainly by the fusion of two bands (Mr. Ed Figadus & Bruce lose) with the same problem... there was no drummer... so João (who was in both bands playing guitar/bass) jumped to the drums and joined Mourinho(mr. ed figadus) on guitar and Luis(bass) and started playing... we also got now João on the second guitar, and ocasionaly Inês on recycled keyboards with distortion... we all sing! This is mainly a politically active band with socially aware lyrics and attitude! we're into punk rock riot, because it's basically the only "STILE" that fits in what we do! we don't pretend to sound like any other punk band, we got a huge diversity in musical tastes, and we're going to mix it all into what we do!... we do it ourselves... just like punk should have allways done!Band/artist history
already told it in the introduction... nothing really new to add...Have you performed in front of an audience?we're a very recent band, but we've played in an anarchist conference in setubal, and in a benefit for an alternative social center in aljustrel,a benefit for a libertarian bibliotec, in a punk rock party for a lot of german punk comunity in portugal, and other places... as far as we can see we got other places where we can play...

we use cheap equipment, real lofi! ELVIS guitar(can u believe this brand?!...) recycled keyboards from the garbage conected to a distortion pedal... old drums with old cymbals and skins... we use anything as long as it plays! :) we dont want to be rock stars we want to be D.I.O.S.(Doing It OurSelves) :)Anything else?
