To me, the electric guitar is one of the most expressive instruments with the vast array of pedals, amplifiers, wood combinations that can shape the end result of the tone that rings from the speaker at the end of the chain. Where I depart from most is that I believe that a guitarist should explore all of these tones or it's much like an artist who decides that he is only going to use blue.
In the world of guitar, there are lines drawn that mystify me. Some will say that jazz can only sound like Wes on an archtop. Others turn their noses at any form of electronics. While others embrace the body electric like John Scofield.
On this page, you will see a work in progress as I explore these sounds. I hope it will be creative and fresh and that you will watch me grow, and enjoy the journey.Have you performed in front of an audience?Right now, I'm "wood-shedding" in the studio. I hope to go live again soon.
