Biography of Leon Vietnam the Doughboy Smith
The CEO/Artist/Producer of Camouflage Enterprise born Leon Smith but to the rap world I?m Vietnam the Doughboy. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan also known as ?The Dirty Glove?. I have been rapping ever since I was little, I mean like six or seven years old. I grew up listening to everything. Some influences were; Master P, C-Murder, Fiend, E-40, and Tupac. Also I had family that was into music; rappers, DJs, etc. So you can call this destiny, or whatever you want. I got a passion for making money, however I have to make. I got a love for music, it?s in me. So I?m going to make passionate love to this music until some money is birthed?Follow me.
I began my rap career in two different rap groups, Warfare and Men at Work, prior to going solo. During the time I was with these two rap groups in Detroit, I completed an album and a mixtape, ?Men at Work? and ?Where the Fuck the Money at??
At this point in my career I moved to Atlanta, Georgia to be closer to the hip-hop scene. A short time living in Atlanta, I met a friend/producer named Clint ?C3? Tripplett, who later became my manager. Within six months we have developed a great chemistry together. He makes the beats, I lace the tracks! We even collaborate together on beats, I lay the banging drum lines and ?C3? creates the mesmerizing melodies. We make a great team and, even better, we make great music!
I?m going to take over the rap game and bring Detroit to the forefront of the music industry once again! I am going to continue to delivering hard lyric with raunchy punch lines over the most bangin beats! Until the industry sheds light on me, I will continue to shine everywhere I go.
