Formed in 1997 by Front man/ Guitarist, Shawn Mitchell, Vertigo Haze was a band on the rise. Residing in Richmond, Virginia, the band was an opener for the areas top local acts and even headlining acts such as International recording artists, Badfinger.
In 1999, Shawn Mitchell relocated to Southern Pennsylvania and Vertigo Haze was left on a temporary hiatus. In 2005 Shawn and Rick Taormino recorded the "Naked Eyes" CD. A new CD is on the horizon very soon!
We used to be on the "bar band" scene, but now only play for special events. One notable show was having "Back In Black" open for us in Adamstown, PA. Those guys do a great job!
Influences are straight ahead Rockers - Who, Deep Purple, Zep, Beatles, Mac, Clapton, Page, and Raffi!
