All we want is to play music for people to listen to. I don't think that's asking for much.
In 1987 I(Motavis) met Jason Rudolf at a discount store where he and I was working together. He mentioned he worked with music. We both made sounds to put into his sampler keyboard. Like the sounds of a dehumidifier sliding down his hands and crashing to the water flow. Then taking those sounds and making beats or just filler for songs. Down the road he introduced me to Rikketta Van Dress whom liked to sing and make music as well. We had an electronic drummer but he turned out he only wanted to do lots of drugs and wanted tons of stuff. So Jason was taking our first album Version-X : Lunar Deluxe to The Record Exchange now known as The Exchange. He met Geof Hale and soon he was our electronic drummer and a talented one he is at that. We formed Fusion Room with him and soon had a CD. I was making more cds and meeting musicians. The clencher was meeting Blaine Jones who we wanted to produce our music. He was a friend through a friend that Jason had known. Blaine saw we had something going and visa versa. Blaine then asked if I would post a CD for him and soon the Label had started taking shape. It was that I knew a lot of people in the music buisness that wanted a place to go and a label was just the thing. This is how Version X and Future Skully Record Label [FSRL] came into being. We always want to thank our fans.
