The inhumanly metal entity that is vd banana came into being one day when Dan and Andi out of grantham hardcore punk bastards SKWERM and Matt of local punk fools Gizmo decided that they should form a band that played only one thing- the metal. Of death.
It was decided that Dan should play drums, Andi guitar and matt bass, all contributing to singing. We practiced. It was rubbish. We practiced again. We played a swing version of the classic britney anthem 'hit me baby one more time', and thought it was time to get help, as we were all crap at these instruments. We enlisted two members of Grantham's oddest metal fuckers, James 'The Baby' Phillips and Louis 'Hitler Youth Pin-up' Archer, on drums and vocals respectively. things picked up quite a bit, then Matt fucked off to manchester to be a student cunt, and things sort of stopped. now he's back, and the metal is reborn!!!!
The metal is not just a type of music, in case anyone reading this is that fucking stupid, the metal is a way of life, its an ethos, A lot like straight edge, but with more drinking, drugs and two-dollar-blowjob-whores. Which if you ask me, is a good thing.
