Total mood and atmosphere on this one. An improvisation that sprang from nowhere in particular. Named "Two" because there are only two guitars.

Tales of the Wahine Cowboy Tales of the Wahine Cowboy
This song features a Hawaiian "slack key" Wahine tuning on acoustic guitar. There are a couple of "Wahine" tunings, this one uses F-Bb-C-F-A-D. Other instruments played on track include additional guitar (standard tuning) and bass.
I have a super-eclectic mix of influences, but I'm basically a guitarist. I have all flavors, electric, acoustic, classical, broken. I play in a variety of tunings and styles, both slide, finger picking and with pick (sometimes tapping out harmonics...or just smacking the guitar when it needs it!). A Couple of guitar influences include Adrian Belew and Ry Cooder. For songwriters I like John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Elvis Costello & many others.
My brother introduced me to harddisk recording so I got into it and got reasonably up to speed to record with Cubasis, CoolEdit, and then Adobe Audition. I also use a windows laptop, Tapco 6306, Transit by M-Audio (laptop soundcard), a couple of semi-decent condenser mikes, Line6 POD 2.0 and you know...other stuff.
