Story behind the song

"The Last Druids" is inspired by events taking place at the dawn of Dark Age Britain. This is the simplest track on the album, inspired by a now lost epic, the tale of Llywarch the Old. A remaining fragment explains how Llywarch's son Gwyn met his death fighting the Saxons after his 
father's taunting.
