Ramblin Round are an acoustic trio based in South Wales UK. Consisting of Dave Adamson (vocal, guitar slide and harmonica) Pete Bradshaw (mandolin, guitar) and Jim Handley (guitar). They’ve been playing together for about a year and have been developing material ready to start gigging this summer if the opportunities come along. The repertoire borrows from blues, folk and country and could be loosely fitted with the Americana label. The emphasis is on a mellow acoustic groove. None of us are fancy musicians but manage to put some songs together and usually please a crowd. About three quarters of the set are self-penned songs by Dave (see myspace.com/daiadamson).

Lyrics
Bottom of the Bottle I never thought I’d find my way to the bottom of the bottle And feel at home and stay till the break of day But once you’re in its hard to climb back out again Past the fences that you’ve made and the trenches that you’ve laid Its hard to find your way back home again Chorus I’ve been this way as long as I can remember I’ve been this way I just keep getting low I’ve been this way since you said goodbye girl Life’s just passing me by at the side of the road Life’s just passing me by at the side of the road JIM’S SOLO Everybody gets to taste a little joy in life A little bit of pleasure to even out the pain I look each day but I just don’t seem to find it I guess somewhere I just gave mine away To the people that I know and the places that I go I guess somewhere I just gave mine away Chorus I’ve been this way as long as I can remember I’ve been this way I just keep getting low I’ve been this way since you said goodbye girl Life’s just passing me by at the side of the road Life’s just passing me by at the side of the road
