Story behind the song
I wanted (And Prayed for this about 4 years before it came to me), a simple song ... simply to just remind folks about, "How often do you just think of the Lord? Or Thank him for anything? Not a Hymn, nor the typical, arm twisting, or particular denomination, conversion songs, ya hear at churches, etc. This song came to me in only 5 minutes. I never had to even write out the words, as I remembered them from the time I started composing it, to this day. I often refer to this song, as totally inspired and the Lord's hand. I'm just the tool to get it out there for folks to hear. One time, playing it in a bar. And Athiest approached me on stage and said, "He didn't really believe in God!" "But that it was one of the most beautiful songs, he ever heard." I found that a bit amusing.
Lyrics
As we all know, Christ Jesus, has risen from the dead. And He's alive in heaven! I'm happy to report! Intercedeing for us daily, as we continually stumble and fall short. And I was sittin around just the other day. When the Holy Spirit, knocked on my hearts' door. And a lit'l voice in my head, said ... "Do you know what Christ Jesus' name, really stands for?" And I thought! C ... Must stand for his C-oming? Which was prophsied, a long, long time ago. The Holy Spirit is our witness ... along with God's Scriptures of old. And H ... Well, that's gotta stand for H-eaven. From whence He came ... He stepped down from His mighty thrown, just to come down here and show us all, how much He really cared. And R ... Stands for R-iches. And that's what he fills everyones life with. And Why Not? He's a King! And He has more riches than you or I, could ever imagine And I ... Stands for I-nvinceable! Of which He was and is and shall ever be. For in Him, is all the power and glory that exists. And He's everywhere! And ST ... Is the abreviation for S-aint. Of which, He is of the Highest Order ... And being God? Well, I guess, ya just don't get no higher? And then there's J, and ... J, Stands for J-erusalem, where He was tried ... and said not a word. Like a mute lamb, He just stood there; And suffered. And was put to shame. And E ... Stand for ... E-verlasting Love! Which He continues to show to everyone. And though, we're not deserving? He has more love for us, than you or I, could ever conceive? And then There's S ... And that stands for the S-in, He bore up on that lonely corss. Yes! The sins of the world. He carried 'em, alone. Now that brings us, to US ... And that doesn't stand for no, United States? That's right! It stands for US! And do you know who US, really is? Well, we're the ones, He died for ...

I love this one the best, it reminds me so much of Johny Paycheck... One of my favorite songs in the whole world. You know the one with his long hair and blue jeans and they won't let him in the church. I can't think of the name right now. I haven't heard it in years. You brought back some old memories for me. I truly do love your music it is so inspirational. Thanks for the message on my page... You Rock oh and I did find him... It took me awhile. Take care Penny
