Story behind the song
Written & performed by: P. Hebert; Produced by: T-Boy for F.A.M.O.U.S. Entertainment. Monstar (Patrick Hebert) of Morgan City, LA. releases a taste of what would be on his upcoming album entitled, "Monstar Ball" which is scheduled to be released during the fall 2007. Monstar has been producing as well during his off season, but decided to give F.A.M.O.U.S. Entertainment a shot by allowing T-Boy (Adam W. Thomas) to create a classic hit that would sure to catch the attention of those rap/R&B listeners. With the song titled, "Grip Locked", T-Boy created a track that very much well complimented Monstar's laid-back yet confident style of flow and lyrics in which he delivers.
