Welcome to F.A.M.O.U.S. Entertainment where music is kept true & real to the hearts of all artists!Band/artist history
Feb. 1997 was my actual moment in history for becoming a producer/rap artist. I was in the Navy at the time when two cousins of mine introduced me to some of their lyrics. I somewhat laughed because I couldn't believe it was them...I never seen it coming from them. Anyway, they thought it would be a great idea if I joined them and use my beat-boxing techniques to produce beats for them; also to keep it a family thing. I was reluctant to the offer due to not ever rapping in my entire life, but with thought I felt I could use my poetry skills and transform them into musical expressions. I immediately purchased a keyboard from Radio Shack and to my suprise, within minutes I created my first instrumental track entitled, "Welcome To My World". That was the day T.K.T. was born (Three Kinds of Trouble). They thought I was the greatest thing that ever happened in my community at that moment. Since then, I've been making unofficial classic hits and trying to make everyone I encounter strive to achieve fame; thus F.A.M.O.U.S. Entertainment.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have performed live a few times within my hometown (Thibodaux, Louisiana) as a rap artist, but my foretay has always been a producer/entrepeneur.
I have to tell you though, being on stage is a unique kind of rush that not many people get to experience. It's not like getting high, jigging off them pills or tootin', but more empowering with chill bumps...I love every minute of it.
My special moment was this one time after performing, I was rushed by a group of females asking for my autograph.
Your musical influences
I've always been a big R&B collector. I can't sing as a performer, but I like to play w/ it from time to time to see if I can hold a note every now & then. A few who has heard me said I sound ok, but much rather me to stick with my beats. I grew up on blues and definately gospel. But it's that old-time gospel; (i.e., Shirley Ceaser, the late Rev. James Cleveland, etc.) I also loved my Michael Jackson (I think we all did at one time). You may find my music affiliated with: rap, hip-hop, R&B, gospel, inspirational & jazz. There may be more to come as I continue my career. What equipment do you use?
