Story behind the song

The Lazarus Ladders, left to their own devices were on a high...(in more than one sense of the word). The darkened room, the joss sticks and the almost overpowering smell of 'grass'... the creative juices were flowing during this remarkable recording session.

Thanks guys and gals...at this point in time... 1967/68,  The Lazarus Ladders skies were green, blue, pink, orange, purple and all shades in-between.

As I suspected, you've gone Trippy Trippy Mr Whippy... what an awful time not to be still able to smoke marijuana. Me lungs. A life of Rock N Roll living. I can picture that late night studio scene as soon as the track started ! Instrumentation and tone is spot on for period . Love the organ ! You always compliment me on my guitar playing and how good you think I am but I can tell you that you are no slouch on that axe David sounds awesome ! You have a great imagination and bring out these great musical stories . Brilliant !
