Inspired by Revelation 7:9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.

DESCENDANTS OF ASAPH Asaph was the first and chief musician in the early days before the temple was built in Jerusalem. By all accounts (1Chron 16v5) he was a percussionist and drummer and together with Heman and Jeduthun formed the first worship band to accompany the choir in praise and worship of God He wrote a number of psalm lyrics under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. His lyrics are very down to earth and he likes to say things exactly as they are! 'Descendants of Asaph' follow in his tradition and is a virtual band dedicated to making music and song unto the Lord and presenting His challenge to the world today through parables in music. Lyrics
From Every Tongue and every Tribe (Revelation 7:9) From every tongue, from every tribe and every people God is calling a Holy Nation A Royal Priesthood set apart to show His praises Called from darkness into His marvellous light To be a witness, a light unto the nations To be a herald of His everlasting reign To spread the gospel, the good news of salvation Till all the earth has heard the message we proclaim Refined as silver in the furnace of affliction A precious jewel in the Victory crown He wears Clothed in His righteousness, the armour of salvation That in the fight of faith, His victory we share
