Story behind the song
Song came about when I was reflecting on the baggage we drag from one relationship into the next. I can relate how I unwittingly sabotaged one relationship, because part of me was still nursing wounds from the previous. I know I was asking someone to not just love me, but to unbreak my heart, bind the wounds AND THEN start something new. That's a lot to ask someone...
