Music has always been a special joy to me. While still a child I enjoyed classical guitar and piano lessons. While growing up I had opportunity to play for our church youth group. More recently I have begun to write songs. They vary widely in style and are not confined to any one genre. My goal is to please the One who is the song-giver; to honour Him in all I write and play. It is my sincere desire that the Lord uses the music I write to draw people closer to Himself. Wherever you are at in relationship to God, may this music touch your heart and be a blessing to you.

Lyrics
Introduction Well, I woke up this mornin’ feeling kinda’ down But who did I meet but a blues-singing clown! Verse 1 He offered to walk with me down that long lonely road But when I done asked him to carry my load He said, “Ain’t got no money, ain’t got no shoes So all I can do, Bub, is help sing the blues Verse 2 Well, that’s all I needed on my way down the track I don’t look for handouts for the things that I lack I just look to Jesus, my best friend in life Keeps me out of trouble and free from all strife Verse 3 So if you don’t like this little song I sing Just make up your own verse of love to our King And leave it alone if blues ain’t your bag And give it the title, “The King of Kings Rag” Instrumental Tag: I just look to Jesus, my best friend in life He keeps me out of trouble and free from all strife Ending = instrumental
