Costs Unknown Costs Unknown

This is a dormant track from 2021 I thought I'd tweak a little bit and put here. It came to mind while I was watching the "Expanse" (SciFi series) and the "Belter Wars" specifically. I thought - they don't have enough of their *own music.

Experimental No samples

I enjoy nearly all music genres. Depending on what musical flow I am in, I will crank out heavy distortion or otherwise overdriven, solid beat electric guitar jams/noodlings/songs - to one-voice, one-guitar acoustic tracks.
Band/artist history
I was drawn to music from an early age - I remember 6 yo as a number/date/milestone period for some reason. I loved drums and was given a "child's kit" - soon disappearing for some reason. At the age of 12 yo I remember being annoying enough to then be given a "Sears Silvertone" acoustic. However, I wanted to learn to play the *Guitar* - not other peoples music on an instrument. That was impossible to communicate. In time, lots of time passing I finally saw how to get to where I wanted to be and play the instrument, my music - and was able to share that very, then, simple journey with those that wanted the same thing - their music on any instrument, if even the guitar.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I enjoyed performing live. I remember being 14 yo and not even acknowledging being on stage as different from brushing my teeth. I did then, later in life endure a period of nervousness. However, that passed, I'm back to how I was when 14 yo (in so many ways :) possibly).
Your musical influences
I don't have any. When a kid and even later - I had nothing. I was given - one time - an album by a relative as a special occasion gift - I had no "stereo" on which to play it :) LOL! Radio when I was a kid was something "played in the car" - I didn't control it and was usually not "on". I think that was the driver for me wanting to know how to play the instrument with my music. Later, as that goes, I admired many different artists, didn't know their names, just liked their music. Once, even - I finally had a descent set of Headphones and heard things on the track(s) I *never* heard previously (not via FM radio, to be sure). So, music remains magical to me - still.
What equipment do you use?
I evolved to "having stuff" :) I over compensated for early lack. However, I still favor stripped down minimalist "everything" in most of what I do. I try to know how/why something does something prior to using an "auto..." anything, or VST, etc. I still mix "manually", mono tracks with initial demo's, bounce tracks as 1v1g via sm57 direct into the mixer, dry.
Anything else?
I wish folks today, musically, folks were more open minded to other musicians - appreciate them/us all for what we do and not judge "good" from "like". In that regard there is very little music I don't like. Moreover, even if I do no like it - I can appreciate it, and as "good".
