untied started in 2007 when I had had enough of repeatedly getting confused by love, repeatedly seeing this euphoric world crumble before me, and decided I had to smother myself in past experiences and document their process.
The result became the 2008 album "so this is love...", an extremely personal album documenting love from its ignorant beginning, through its confusion, doubt and distrust, its evident demise through to the attempt to try and live for yet another future failure.
- DannieHave you performed in front of an audience?I have played live only once so far, with an upcoming concert on the horizon and yes I love it.
It's always a challenge to put your insides on the outside, but I hope, and like to feel that I do leave an impression on myself on my listeners and that they will hopefully take something of me with them home.
What equipment do you use?
I use a computer, loaded with lots of free software, to be sure that my music is not created by money but by passion. Anyone can buy an expensive synthesiser, use a couple of presets and an arpeggiator and come out with something sounding quite nice, but that is not what I'm in it for, I want to put myself in the music, not the sound of the ladest fad.Contact
