UNDEAD
La banda SADOMASOCHRIST se forma a mediados del 2000, bajo las cenizas de otras bandas hardcore y death metal (Vaca Bronx, Skorbutto, Sendero Oscuro), con Jimmy en la guitarra, Chelo en la batería, Ramiro en la guitarra, y Roberto en las voces, haciendo covers de varias bandas death, thrash y hardcore. Semanas después entra Keru en el bajo y se empieza a tocar en conciertos subterráneos, en busca de un estilo musical definido. La banda cambia el nombre a UNDEAD y empieza el verdadero momento. Cuando hubo la oportunidad de grabar un CD, y tras la salida de Roberto, llega Vico (Ex- Effigy of Gods) con el cual se graba el disco llamado “Lost In The Abyss” del cual se destaca la canción “Lost in the Abyss” y “Sweat. Acid. Blood.” (la primera bastante apoyada en el programa ROCK N BOL de la Stereo 97 de La Paz); este CD de 6 temas es distribuido solamente a personas allegadas al grupo y a otros headbangers.
Después de disputas entre los miembros Ramiro sale de la banda y deja un puesto imprescindible en la estructura musical de UNDEAD. Por azares del destino, llega a Bolivia un guitarrista chileno, procedente de Santiago, llamado Mario (Ex- Titus) con el cual se empieza a tocar y se encuentra un feeling muy bueno y comienza una nueva etapa en la vida de UNDEAD.
Casi un año después de la formación de UNDEAD, Vico sale de la banda dejando el papel de vocalista a Keru; y con él a Jimmy, Chelo y Mario en los vocales de apoyo.
El 2003, despues de problemas personales con integrantes de la banda, Mario Villa es despedido de la banda, dejando a UNDEAD como un power trio. Con esta partida, la banda empieza un nuevo ciclo, el cuál amerita ser muy productivo tanto en lo musical como en lo personal.
UNDEAD ha compartido escenario con bandas y djs increíbles como son: PANTANO, SCORIA, VADE RETRO, METASTASYS, LILITH, HATE, FACTO ALFA, GUMMO, INDIO, SICK, LOS AMIGOS DE HARRY, DJ FRANCISCO, DJ WALKER, DJ JC FROG, DJ METAL, en diferentes festivales y fiestas.
Actualmente, UNDEAD se encuentra en planes de editar el CD “Insane Religion” con un death metal influenciado por death metal, hardcore y drum & bass.
