Baltimore, home of the HBO show "The Wire", and The Ravens Super bowl Champions. This small city is put on the MAP for being one of the highest crime rates in the country. Among other things, it’s just a Mecca of Hip Hop waiting to be awakened "Wake Up" that’s the mean and vicious Freestyle being orchestrated by Baltimore’s No. 1 hip hop group. The Uncanny Click, which by the way is nicknamed B- City. The crew is formed of three members, Gator, Cartlime & G-Kid. Each with their own individual style and flavor. I was a solo artist first; explained Gator. Cart didn’t even rhyme like that and G-Kid cared more about the block. When the summer of 2004, hit everyone got on their A game and we did 3 more mix tape albums, with no famous DJ’s hosting or any known features; just us spitting s#!# over anyone’s track. The end results were The Uncanny Click making nearly $2000.00 a week selling the CD’s out of our trunk.
We also performed at Coppin State College in February 05’, where T.I. was the featured performer; we also performed at the Showtime Theatre for the Sony Showcase in October of 04’ and had a spot on B-City’s Hip Hop DVD. Cart-lime says next we’re going to take over the air waves, we’ve been doing the mix tape thing for years now and it’s time to smash the radio. We have a couple of singles and some "killer" freestyles, it’s definitely our turn. G-Kid adds, B-City isn’t a North or South town, it’s a mixture of both and in our music you can hear it and also feel it. Uncanny also produces their own tracks, owns a small project studio and has one of the tightest B-City producers at their disposal (DJ MOOK). They just finished up a new mix tape called "Battle for B-City" and currently working on an album to shop to the major record labels. Gator says, we got some deals on the table, but I figured if we create a bigger buzz and sell more mix tapes, we can negotiate our own deal. And it will probably happen for the trio if they keep spitting lines like nothings better than us.

And with hundreds of songs and freestyles done, Uncanny will probably be a force to recon with. Gator hits you with that punch line tight flow, Cart is a more flawsy arrogant type of rapper, and G-Kid has that laid back gangster steez.
