FEEL THE TWENTY4SEVEN EFFECTBand/artist history
I started writing around age 9, mostly poetry. I first started writing songs with structure,,,oh,,,I must have been about 12 or 13 I guess. As I grew up the progression to hiphop/rap was seamless,,,,it is what drives me now. Twenty4seveN actually first came to life in 2001. Then in 2003 I started my own label, "LateNiteRecords" with a friend. That is when I really started getting serious. Basically since 2002 I have been writing and working toward a public release. Now at age 26, I'm about to release my first album and I'm doin some collabo's with other emcee's and it's starting to take off. It's been a long time comming.Have you performed in front of an audience?I don't think there are many artists out there that don't like bustin some shit out in front of an audience. I'm no different.
Your musical influences
I'm influenced by everything that ever hit me in the gut at first listen. There are a lot of great song writers out there, great lyracists. open your ears and hear what they're really saying and it will move you. I get inspired when I hear a dope track. It makes me want to write something just as good. I don't stop untill I'm satisfied it's as good as it can get. If you are gonna get in the ring, you should make sure you can box with the big boys, don't settle. What equipment do you use?
Cooledit Pro 2.0 basically does it for me,,,,at least until final recording comes,,,then I hit a professional studio.Anything else?
Advice,,,if you're stating out,,,,rap everywhere, rap to friends, rap to yourself,,,rap to your plants,,,,just rap all the time,,,find your sound.
