Not really a band, more a one man project.
I have been fiddling about on my PC for the last few years and finally got the guts to let some things be heard to the world.
I am what you could call a semi-multi-instrumentalist, meaning that I can actually only play one instrument quite good (drums) and a lot of other instruments a litlle bit.
Unfortunately I don't have any room to setup my drums, so it will be very unlikely you will hear any live drums on my tracks, but then again, with the music I tend to make, they're not really missed.Band/artist history
The first instrument I ever played, was my fathers Wersi organ. At 8 years old, I started going to music school (this is probably not correct English, but I don't know how else to write it) and soon started to play the clarinet (did this for about 8 years). In the meanwhile, I discovered the drums en after a while I started studying Percussion in the same school. At the time I was also playing in the local fanfare, but seen as a fanfare only has copper instruments, I had to switch over to Alt Saxophone in stead of clarinet. Later I dropped all instruments except the drums, and started playing in al sorts of bands, with a personal highpoint in 1994 when our band reached the finals of a local rock contest (Humo's Rock Rally) which has spawned a lot popular Belgian bands (dEUS anyone?). Of course, once I started working, I didn't have time anymore to do gigs and go to rehearsels, and that leads me to my current situation: dabbling about on my PC.Your musical influences
My musical influences? Ooh, that's a hard one.
I actually like almost all kinds of music. Starting from classical, over jazz, metal, hardcore, elektro, IDM, pop, rock, indie, new wave, punk, singer/songwriter, techno, etc...What equipment do you use?
I mostly use very cheap gear (hey, one has to start somewhere).
My main setup is, of course, my PC running Cubase SX3.1.1.94 (soon Cubase 4) together with my M-audio Delta 1010, some Behringer pre-amps, a Samson servo 300 amplifier, an M-audio Nova condenser microphone an a couple of Alesis Monitor One MKII nearfields.
Besides this, I have a cheapo Palmer Bass guitar, a Stagg acoustic guitar, a Jack & Danny electrical jazz guitar, a Hohner melodica, and some percussion instruments.Contact
