Biography Recording artist Tuff Laun began his music career at the age of only fourteen in the year of 1999. Coming from a place such as Cedar Rapids, Iowa a lot of people would say he has done what most may consider impossible. Bringing hip hop music to the scene in Iowa and also becoming a wonderful role model for the youths in the local communities. When asked what it is about hip hop music he loves the most, he would tell you, “it is a great way to express yourself in a POSITIVE manner, and he can make music about real life experiences that people can relate too”. He has a great ear for the sounds of music but has a creative and unique style that cannot be matched. The best way to describe this artist is dedicated to making a difference, passionate with what he does, and very talented for his age. He has managed to release 4 mixtapes, an album with another in his record label and has even created his own DVD with the help of fellow group members. Big Bang Records in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is very well known for inspiring the youths in their area to show them that anything is possible with the drive of a mac truck, the heart of a lion, and the patients of a teacher. He has also been featured on numerous mix tapes across the United States by many different djs. All which have sold over 5,000 units without a distributional deal. We started in 1999 and have done everything we can to grab the attention of our state first. We have released 5 different mixtapes of our artist, 6 albums and also even came out with a DVD called "Shank DVD" which all of the sold over 5,000 units with out any distribution deal
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have played all over the United State. Many Iowa because that is where i reside. But we just got off tour from Atlanta and North Carolina

I am influenced by people like L.L. Cool J, Rakim, Run DMC, Michael Jackson(R.I.P) and a lot of other legends of the game but also the new age artist like Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Drake, the whole Dipset, & Kanye West.
