He Loves Me He Loves Me

A song about each of us having someone to turn to when no one else is there.

Hip Hop General

Truth For Freedom started as a movement to speak truths that other individuals refrain from. In early 2007 the robinson family begin recording songs of change. They begin recording their struggles, pains, triumphs and emotional experiences in musical format. Their first CD project is set to release in late 2008. They are backed by Atlanta's best break dancing crew (voted by Creative Loafing magazine) the H.B.O. Crew, they have close ties with The Pride Institute (a non-profit dedicated to instilling a sense of pride in minority individuals), Living Unity ( a homeless outreach ministry) and Zealot D'Andre's DREAM, a character based entertainment company.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Truth for Freedom performs at many churches, private venues, and fundraiser events across the southeast. We absolutely love performing. Members Mr. Charlie and Bolo are members of H.B.O. Crew, a well known breakdancing crew in the Atlanta area. Our favorite part of performing is watching kids have fun while accepting the truths in our music!
Your musical influences
We are into combining different genres of music and overlaying it all with hip-hop. Our music has a strong spirituality but shouldnt be labeled as simply Holy Hip Hop or Christian rap. You'll hear a little jazz, a little trip-hop, a lot of dance / miami bass, gospel, and plenty of southern funk.
What equipment do you use?
