I have been producing music since 1994. I started out on an Alesis MMT-8 sequencer, Alesis HR-16 drum machine, and Casio CT-670 keyboard. In 1996 I met a fellow artist named Myth who convinced me to actually write down and perform lyrics I had spit in the cipher. After several years of collaborations with artists ranging from Smoke Heavy, Smoke Dog, Killer Trees, Killa Don, and Myth, I finally feel it's time to focus on a solo project.Have you performed in front of an audience?I will play/performe anywhere live. He lives for the thrill of rocking a crowd and will never turn down an opportunity to do so. I am a seasoned performer and can connect with any crowd on a personal level due to my energy and amiability. My best moment performing was at 14. I was hired to play rythum guitar at a library gig. It wasn't my biggest moment, but it was the first one.
Your musical influences
The only way to describem my tastes is eclectic. I listen to almost anything out there except country. My personal collection includes things from mainstream hip hop from the early 80's to present, as well as obscure stuff almost no one has heard of. I love some classic r&b and I have every Curtis Mayfield song ever recorded. I listen to alot of rock, classical, and world music. I feel that I need to hear a little bit of everything in order to give my music an edge over other producers.What equipment do you use?
I use various live synth, live instruments, samplers, sequencers, and several software synth.Anything else?
