Intelligence is Not a Virus Intelligence is Not a Virus

Experimental rock that challenges modern society's notion that technology has improved daily lives

Experimental

Triptofan experiments with sound, structure, genres and ideas to form a new brand of psychedelic and political rock. No subject is taboo or off limits. The use of mind altering substances, whatever form most pleases you, can aid in the interpretation of the music. Hidden messages are buried deep in the mix for all of you future psychopaths out there to manipulate and twist into your own personal manifesto.
Band/artist history
Lobotomies are very interesting. After mine, a whole new world of truth and infomation was opened up to me. I always thought I was an alien when in fact I was a government military-mind control experiment gone wrong.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No we play dead. Just like a possum. Do I like it? Tastes like chicken I guess. A special moment- can't think of anything anyone would care about.
Your musical influences
The weirdness of the Butthole Surfers combined with the intelligence and satire of Frank Zappa with just a little bit of the Clash and Gary Numan thrown in for flavor. Add some purple haze with a pinch of Nirvana and you pretty much have the recipe for triptofan. Bake at 420 and enjoy!
What equipment do you use?
pawn shop
Anything else?
Embrace your inner weirdness! Revel in the fact you may be a little bit different from the average person. Free thinking is not a crime. (In most countries, anyway.) If you smile and stay quiet, people will wonder what you are up to.
