Band/artist history
Our group is consisted of four members. If we had to assign roles, Cheeze would be the D.J., Eliseo would be the producer, Poetic would be the hustler and Tsick would be the Lyricist. This is pretty much how we first met. We all went to the same high school. We saw that if we were going to make it in this music business that we would have to come together and make this work. We all had talents we could use together to help us all succeed. However, we all produce music, we can all DJ, We Can All Rap and We all damn sho some hustlaz. You can belieeeeee DAT!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We have to. Our music is so full of energy that it would be a setback if we didn't. Most people expect a group like us to perform live. Also, if anyone is serious about being successful in this industry as an artist you will eventually have to play live. And you'd better have dat Fie Fie!
Your musical influences
We really look at anybody that had to strive and make something out of nothing. We are pretty much in the same boat, building something from the ground up, scraight from tha dirt. We ain't wit dat silver spoon crap. So examples of our influences would be Jay-Z, T.I., Lil Jon, and pretty much anybody that started their own trend or style in doing something.
What equipment do you use?
We had to pimp tha game in this situation. Especially when we first started off we wasn't filthy rich. So we used a simple program called Cuebase VST. and a Casio Keyboard as a slave. We also have an ancient dinosaur beat machine that we barely use and is collecting dust. We mainly use a program called Giga Sound Studio to sample all the sounds such as base foots, snares and pianos that we need into Cuebase as Midi and we always come out wit dat scraight flame broiler. Most people, considering the type of music we do, would be expecting us to use Tritons which is a 3,000 dollar keyboard and either Logic or what most people use Protools. But it seems to me that what we use comes out sounding 10x better than anything in that combination.
Anything else?
To you all out there that don't know about us, here is a piece of advice. Our music is contageous. It spreads like a disease or virus. Even if you don't like us for any reason, whether it be just haterism or you just don't like the music we do, you will eventually like us in some type of way. We don't get hardly any negative comments on our music and if so they are most likely just hating because when we ask them what they don't like about the music they can't give us a Logical and reasonable answer. And to all you producers out there that think you are doing something, it is time to up the game. Some things are about to be changing real soon.
