We're not that kind of band.
We've played together for years which is an accomplishment in itself.Have you performed in front of an audience?We don't play live very often. We all work full time day jobs to pay the bills and unfortunately that consumes most of our time and energy. I'd like to play out more often, maybe this year.
Your musical influences
Wes Montgomery, John Coltrane, Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Kinks, Joe Henderson, and basically anyone I've ever heard. Don't forget Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Vivaldi, Ravi Shankar, John McLaughlin, Miles Davis, Dexter Gordon, Bill Evans, Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton, and several hundred more greats.What equipment do you use?
I mostly play a Wes Montgomery L5. Most of the recordings were done using this guitar and a Polytone MBII. I use a Fender Deluxe Reverb RI on at least one recording. The nylon string recordings are heavily processed and were done either with a lavalier mic stuck on the front of my classic or a Takamine SC132.
My bassist uses an upright and has used various pickups. For amplification I have an SWR Workingmans 10" he borrows.
The drums are white.
