Tracy Berg's instrumental music is a very colorful mellow blend of New Age, Cool Jazz and Pop performed in different settings. From solo acoustic piano to keyboards/synthesizers/pianos with rhythm sections, and/or other accompaniments.Mellow, soothing and cool, there is virtually something for everyone. While some of the harmonic vocabulary may seem a bit sophisticated at times, each song possesses great emotion, sensitivity and sincerity. Music that is true and honest! Just as the artist himself is.
Band/artist history
Pianist/Composer/Guitarist Tracy Berg was classically trained from 7 years of age through college. After graduation he moved to NYC then Chicago and studied Jazz Piano. Now residing in Houston, TX, Tracy is a full time private keyboard/piano/guitar instructor, Iceberg Music Lessons of Houston and Jazz/Contemporary pianist, who performs a wide variety of music in both solo and small/large ensemble situations, often times with The Roland Steele Band (a very cool jazz quartet), in addition to composing and recording on a regular basis.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
All around the Houston area. Currently performing with The Roland Steele Band. A groovy little cool jazz quartet that plays a wide variety of jazz, standards and some 60's and 70's pop hits.
