In the fall of 2004, CP and Doonie started a group called Dem Boyz. It was under that name that they recorded their first song titled "Yep Go Dumb". The response to the song was tremendous and became a local favorite at their high school. At that time Mac was a basketball player who had just started rapping. He, Doonie, and CP had always been aquaintances at school. By the winter of 2004 Mac had joined the group and they began recording as a trio. After noticing the popularity of Dem Franchise Boyz they decided to change their name to the T.O.W.N. Boyz. After recording three tracks they took them to Bryant Wyatt, CEO of Mydas Touch Entertainment. He was instantly impressed with their music and offered them the chance to be the first artists on his label. They accepted the offer and became the first artists on Mydas Touch Entertainment. On September 9th, 2005, they released their debut album titled, "Boyz Will Be Boyz". The album experienced some success in Sacramento. In November both CP and Mac entered the studio to begin work on solo albums and Doonie is taking time to concentrate on Basketball and school. But be on the lookout for their second album titled "Boyz 2 Men" dropping in the summer of 2006. The T.O.W.N. Boyz have recieved acclaim from established northern California artists such as Brotha Lynch.
