A Brother's Tribute A Brother's Tribute
Music set to exerts from the fantastic speech given by Earl Spencer at the funeral of Diana/Princess Of Wales.
Please Close The Door Please Close The Door
A ballad with words by my little sis, I've tried to give it a haunting quality with shades of a latin sound, see what you think.
You Believe In Me You Believe In Me
a beautiful ballad with possible Christian undertones.
Tony Frost:
Music has been my life, my inspiration and often my salvation.
I began writing and playing at the age of eleven and have never stopped.
Beginning in Country and Western music enjoying my peers, Johnny Cash, Jim Reeves
and Don Williams.
I had the great honour of playing in the first Edinburgh Country Music Festival way back
in 1980, along with Boxcar Willie and Skeeter Davis to name but a few.
My repertoire is endless and I have entertained many different audiences from the young to
the very old. I play R&B, New Age, Jazz and Soul and my mentors at this time in my life are
the great Terry Callier Josh Groban Marti Pellow and Michael Buble.
I produce all my own backing tracks enjoying this side of the business together with the
entertaining.
Since becoming a Christian my joy includes writing and singing Christian music as did the great
Elvis Presley, "How Great Thou Art" being a firm favourite of mine.
In April this year, I had the supreme fortune of winning first prize in The International Song Of Peace competition in Tiperary with an up tempo gospel song I wrote called Save Us Now and am hoping to return to Ireland for a concert, the proceeds of which will go to the charities represented at the peace forum over the weekend of the peace festival of which the competition was a part.Have you performed in front of an audience?oh yes, I play live and the International Song Of Peace festival in Tipperary was the highlight of the last twenty-five years, before that it was the first international festival of country music in Edinborough, in the Royal Exhibition hall in front of ten thousand people.
