Inspiration Inspiration
This song evolved out of the lyric idea of treating inspiration as a woman.
Find a Way Find a Way
A song about how the million-and-one tasks of adult life prevent people from enjoying life.
My Kind My Kind
A song about my desire to live in a world like the one in Lord of the Rings.
I got into music by listening to Pink Floyd, Billy Joel and other '60's and '70's people. I have been songwriting for 14 years and live in Jackson, TN (between Nashville and Memphis).Band/artist history
I began doing music on a serious basis in 1991, practicing an average of 3-4 hours a day. About 12 years after that I began writing songs worth listening to. Financial issues forced me to reduce my practice time down to 1 hour a day in May 2005.Have you performed in front of an audience?I used to play live at open mike nights in Nashville, but my songs now have too many parts to perform them alone.
Your musical influences
My favorite band is Pink Floyd and my favorite individual musician is Billy Joel. Pink Floyd gave me the idea to fill out the sound of a song by having a keyboard part in the background. The musician I sound most similar to is James Taylor. What equipment do you use?
I have a Fender acoustic guitar with a great sound, a Roland Fantom keyboard and I record on a Tascam 788.Contact
