I'm a solo artist creating in my home studio.Band/artist history
Started life in Finland in the early 60's. The family moved to Canada in the winter of 1969. We lived in Windsor which is across the river from Detroit so I was greatly influenced by listening to the Detroit rock stations. Played trombone in my school bands and the Lions Club concert / marching band. That is where I received most of my formal training in musical theory. Played drums and performed vocals in some rock bands in the late 70's and early 80's. Started writing at about the same time. I've always been mostly interested in the recording process. I am an electronics technician by profession. I also enjoy painting very much.Have you performed in front of an audience?No.
Your musical influences
Beatles, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Queen, Supertramp, Rush, Led Zepplin, Peter Gabriel, Sting & The police, Steely Dan etc. Almost any music from the mid to late 1970's.What equipment do you use?
Cakewalk sequencing software, Mackie mixer, AKAI DR-8 hard disk recorder. Alesis Adat, DigiTech reverb/delay, dbx compressor, Roland Sound Canvas, Yamaha TG500, Roland M-OC1, General Music PRO2 Digital piano, Audio - Technica condenser microphone, Washburn guitars, Takamine bass etc.Anything else?
