Great Work, I really dig the beatles coversI'm surprised that your list of influences didn't include Charlie Hunter. I would have that thought he would be at the top of the list, because when I think of 8 string guitar, I automatically think of Charlie Hunter. On the other hand, I don't hear really any of Hunter's style in your playing. I hear a huge Joe Pass influence on "Porgy", but then again, what solo guitarist hasn't been influenced by Joe Pass? I wish most of your tunes were better quality, but it sounds really good from what I heard.Beautyfully played! How GvE and LB would have appreciated this!
Makes me look forward to your first CD with the 8 string. Please don't wait too long.
Hansamazing playing, you're the best!All comments (7)
