Hello! Welcome to my page. The music you will hear on this page are all completely 100% original compositions, created from scratch, either for a specific purpose or project, or simply with the general idea of specific 'type' of film scene (ie battle, tragic loss, love etc) in mind.
I hope you enjoy them :o)Have you performed in front of an audience?I play the piano live yes. Many of my songs are actually written and recorded with a full orchestra in mind, using a synth orchestra on the program I use. But I have a fair number of piano compositions which I enjoy playing, whether it be for an audience, or just for myself in the wee small hours :o) I just love to play.
A great moment for me was when one of my songs (Stages of Day) was used in a small film that I was in. It was a proud moment :o)
Your musical influences
I really am an ecclectic. My music is typically classical film score music, so I ADORE all film scores such as Lord of the Rings, Crash, ANYTHING by John Williams, Danny Elfman, and Howard Shore. I love the Kill Bill soundtrack because it's just Tarantino's record collection on a cd, ha ha! It's amazing.
But then I also love Guns n' Roses, Babyshambles, Jeff Buckley, Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, The Kooks...! And whereas these bands don't influence my MUSIC as such, they definately influence my drive to create something of my own. What equipment do you use?
At the moment I'm on my ibook g4 with Garageband '06 with an Orchestral extention, attached to my own electric piano.Anything else?
I just want to say how great this site is, and how proud everyone should be for having created something of their own to share with other people. It's great that so many artists are given that chance.
I am readily available for screen scoring jobs, whether it be something from my repertoire, or something comletely new from scratch, brand new for your film. Don't hesitate to contact me.Contact
