Hey, I'm Tom, 18 years young, I live in Cornwall and I play guitars for a hardcore band; MAGNA CARTA. I'm primarily using this site as a sort of diary of any ideas/riffs that I get for my band but I'm also going to use it as a method of showcasing tracks that I have produced myself either at home or at uni. Have you performed in front of an audience?
As stated I play guitars for MAGNA CARTA (formerly Oceans Between Us) we gigged in Plymouth and Cornwall mainly and since the name change we're working on a three track demo which should be available at the end of august, again get hold of me and I'll hook you up with a hard copy or some mp3's
Your musical influences
I get inspiration from absolutely everything, from listening to my favourite bands, to watching films to tapping my feet on the pavement and through this I can share all my ideas and catalogue them which makes my life a whole lot easier.
What equipment do you use?
I'm using my Jackson MXMG and a Line 6 Pod Studio UX1 to record at home running through a combination of Cubase SX3 and Reason 4. I should hopefully coming in to an Engl Fireball 100 soon for playing live, gotta love that sound.
