I'm not really a band, I'm a songwriter who, by the grace of God or some other higher power, has had the good fortune of getting some music for some of my lyrics.Band/artist history
still in the conception stages...Have you performed in front of an audience?I don't play live, but I've been known to sing on Karioke night. If I drink enough beer, I sound just like... well, I sound just like Tink after drinking too much beer.
Your musical influences
Oh man... this is tough... I change daily. But I didn't really find the inspiration to write songs until I was turned on to Jimmy Buffett. But I listen to all kinds of music, country -- ala Trick Pony... I like the attitude. Musically I am inspired by anything that creates a visceral reaction while I'm lost in the song. Can't really pin it on any certain genre or band. I think one of the greatest writers of all time was John Lennon and the most beautiful song he ever wrote was "Imagine". More recently, Alannis Morisette has played a big part in my writing. Tomorrow it could be someone different.What equipment do you use?
