Chamber Music

I completed three years of study in music at the Marie-Victorin College in May 2009 with a speciality in composition, my output profile. Music flows through my veins. In fact, I am the grand son of Jean Vallerand who was secretary of the Music Conservatory of Quebec, and himself a composer among many other functions. As for my father, he is one of the largest film music collectors in the world. To have literally bathed in classical and film music, I fortunately developed a certain interest for these genres. To mention also that I play the piano and that I used to play the trumpet.
Band/artist history
I started composing in 2007. It took some time and money to build a small but interesting home studio with professional equipement.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I do not play live. I compose in my basement.
Your musical influences
Classical: Frederic Chopin, Gustav Holst, Beldritch Smetana, Igor Stravinsky among my favorites. Film Music: Bruno Coulais, Don Davis, Jerry Goldsmith, Harry Gregson-Williams, Thomas Newman, James Newton Howard, John Williams, Hans Zimmer. Other: Daft Punk, Infected Mushroom, Loreena McKennitt, Nightwish, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Yanni.
