Jamie Mehan moved from San Diego to Beaverton with his wife to be near family.
He has played at the San Diego Zoo w/ Island Fever for 5 yrs., at the Wild Animal Park with Jackstraws, and many more.
Classical music education as a lead tenor led to awards in state and regional competitions.
Mehan's original band Fate of Birth opened for Johnny Winter, Leon Russell, The Montros and many more during the '80s and '90s.
Bassist Kevin Fields has been in the Portland music sceen for over a decade.
"I first met David and Dallis when they were in a band called
See (Jane Run), I found Jamie Mehan in the paper, and Dan Davis Came about a year later From another band that I had formed.
The name came after 9/11
when all I seem to here people refering to Americans as
"YANKS" or "THE YANKS",
and you could say we are another Yankee Band."
And Dallis AKA Billy, is a flat out F^%$@& DRUM Monster, Dallis has blown me away
with his stamina and strength with a non stop bombardment of hart stopping Percussion
